Chianti Riserva DOCG 2020

The flavor is decisive, enveloping and never banal, like the most truthful expression of the land in which it is born: Tuscany. Dry and slightly acidic, it goes perfectly with main courses of beef, veal and poultry.
The aromatic notes are intense, the herbaceous hints of tea combine with the woody olfactory emotions of sweet tobacco and resin.

Wine produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, obtained in the oldest vineyard plots with less production. Fermentation and maceration on the skins last two weeks at a controlled temperature with the use of selected yeasts. The aging takes place in French oak barriques or tonneaux for at least one year.

The wine undergoes an aging in bottle for six months and the marketing takes place two years after the harvest.

It has an intense garnet colour, to the nose has intense spicy notes, cloves, but also references to roasting, coffee and lighter notes of caramel. On the palate is of great structure with a dense tannic texture that can be more or less round depending on the vintage.

In fact, Sangiovese is very sensitive to the climatic context of the season and it is precisely in the tension and flavor of the tannins that this character is perceived more strongly. Precious wine with great longevity in the bottle.
